I have been working as the Graphic Designer for an online raw, organic, superfood supplier that is located here in Bend, Live Superfoods. In an effort to enhance the overall brand identity, package design and implement new email marketing campaigns I have been very busy working to understand the products and a new industry I haven’t had the opportunity to be a part of until now.
Our first major project design has just been delivered – new food packaging in the form of color plastic pouches branded with Live Superfoods’ identity and coordinating product imagery. These re-sealable bags combine full color photographs with coordinating color schemes, logo and even a specially designed transparent window to display packaged goods.
The process, design-wise, was somewhat new for me in terms of stylizing this type of packaging. The end result – completely successful and we are very excited to get bags filled and shipped off to awaiting customers!
Rimrock Health Alliance has given final approval on the website design that I created for
this new Prineville, Oregon based nonprofit organization. Acting as the ultimate showpiece
for the new brand identity, I was able to incorporate the signature colors and style into a
format that displays all information for the new facility. Content pages include RHA Members,
Classes and soon to be listed ongoing Projects making this website an in depth resource for
everyone in Crook County.
I obviously have some catching up to do.
Kate Miller Design is proud to unveil a brand identity designed for a new organization,
Rimrock Health Alliance. Located in Prineville, Oregon the nonprofit’s development is
underway working to build a stronger economy within Crook County that is based on
utilizing local health care resources to strengthen local businesses.
Much of the design was produced through collaboration with Mary Marquiss, a local artist
and consultant hired by the organization to assist with marketing.
Utilizing three color tones combined with custom font style and rough lines, the logo design represents many features within the organization through a visual that is unique and meant
to leave a lasting impression. The design has been translated into collateral to represent
RHA with business cards, letterhead and envelopes. I am currently working to build their
new website design www.rimrockha.org. Stay tuned for more to come!
